From certificates to capability
The platform's brand was built on access and scale. But B2B partners increasingly asked a harder question: which certificate holders should we interview first?
Self-reported projects and peer-graded assignments weren't enough. Partners wanted tasks evaluated against industry criteria — automatically, at scale.
Integration approach
Digital Internship modules were offered as a capstone layer on top of existing specializations. Learners who opted in entered a simulated team environment and completed employer-aligned deliverables.
Scores flowed back into the platform's learner graph. Partners gained API access to capability percentiles without exposing raw learner data inappropriately.
Partner impact
Enterprise customers began using capability thresholds in sourcing workflows. Learners with verified simulation scores saw materially higher recruiter engagement than certificate-only peers.
The product team positioned capability pathways as a premium differentiator — increasing partner retention and giving marketing a sharper story than "100 million enrollments."
